Hi, I'm Kathryn.
I'm the founder of Excelerate, a web studio building clean, custom sites for startups, small businesses, and professionals. I'm a Tulane grad in Finance and Computer Science, born and raised in University Park, Dallas.
Excelerate was born from identifying gaps while I worked at the LePage Center aka the entrepreneurship incubator at Tulane.
I saw that too many startups were either using a template essentially for websites, yes even with AI, or they would have to pay obscene prices for web developers who often were outsourced overseas and gave them nothing close to what they wanted (it happend multiple times and yes it was stressful). As deadlines were tight I coded several startups websites and wanted to help other startups outside of just Tulane have websites at a low cost that actually do what they need to do.
I also saw so many students underselling themselves by only having a one-page resumes and vague AI generated LinkedIn posts. I understand jobs validly want to see real work so I used resume portfolios to fill that gap between applicants and employers.
After graduation I'm now back in Dallas to start my career in Technology Dispute Advisory consulting in the fall, but Excelerate is here to stay.

Meet Anne.
Anne Heldman is Excelerate's lead designer, bringing the visual side of every project to life. With a degree in Communications and Design from Tulane and a 4.0 GPA, she combines a sharp creative eye with real strategic thinking about how design communicates.
Anne handles the aesthetics, layout direction, and visual identity of every site we build. She also offers custom logo and brand design, hand-crafted, not AI-generated, so there are zero intellectual property concerns for your business.
Her background spans marketing at St. Jude Children's Hospital, brand work at BluePrint Art Gallery, and digital design across web, social, and print, so she knows how to make things look great across every platform.
